SITE ACCESS
Inaccessible Yards
20. Once the service team arrives we begin our systematic approach to servicing your lawn. In order to provide timely, efficient and dependable service the yard must be accessible before service or risk the service being skipped. Our team will note on the work order the reason why an area was not serviced. We do not offer credits or redo’s for missed areas due to inaccessible yards. If a trip is made and we were unable to service any areas the regular service fee will be charged. If you request a return trip the regular service fee applies and service is rescheduled when we are in the area.
21. Inaccessible Yards include but are not limited to: locked gates; broken gates; ongoing projects; moving vans; too many parked cars; pets outside; excessive number of item on lawn; irrigation running; construction material or workman in a yard.
Locked Gate
22. If you prefer to lock your gate, we would recommend you give us a key or combination. If we cannot gain access to a yard, The Lawn Master reserves the right to charge a service fee to cover travel expenses to and from the property which will be included in the final invoice.
Obstructed Access
23. Please ensure your lawn and access points are clear of parked vehicles. If The Lawn Master is unable to access parts of your property, the regular service fee will be charged.
24. If the lawn becomes overgrown by the next scheduled visit, extra charges may apply.
LAWN DEBRIS
25. We kindly ask that you ensure all areas are cleared of debris before your scheduled service. This includes wood, branches, toys, bricks, stones/rocks, furniture etc. These types of items are very hazardous if hit by mowing equipment and can result in serious damage to your property or our equipment, or serious injury to our staff or others.
26. If we observe debris on the lawn, we will not be able to mow that area until it’s cleared. We charge an additional fee to clear debris from your lawn.
PET WASTE
27. Please remove pet waste from lawn prior to mowing service. If The Lawn Master is required to clean up pet waste additional charges may apply.
COMMUNICATION
28. The Lawn Master will send a reminder text before your scheduled mow if requested. This is to ensure access is available, obstructions are removed from the service area and payment is ready.
29. If wet weather is forecasted, The Lawn Master will contact you as soon as practical to arrange an alternative day and time.
SAFETY
30. Safety is our highest priority. Due to the nature of our work, we must take care and ensure the terrain is safe before proceeding.
31. Please inform us of any obscured dips or hazards in your yard.
32. Please ensure your pets are inside or away prior to the scheduled mow. If your pet is in the yard and cannot be taken inside or away at the time of service, we will not be able to service your lawn and a full service fee will be incurred. This is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of your pets and our staff.
33. Please inform us of any unprotected pipework. While we shall use caution operating machinery it is the property owners responsibility to ensure all exposed pipework is protected with suitable guarding. We may not be automatically liable for damage to exposed pipework.
PROJECTILE DAMAGE
34. It is the property occupant’s responsibility to remove anything that can be damaged by a projectile ejected from our equipment during a mow before we arrive to commence work.
35. The Lawn Master is not responsible for damage to items left on the lawn. The teams do their best to avoid running over hoses, toys, paper, dog bones, etc. However, these items are sometimes difficult to see. Please take a moment and collect all objects on the lawn before the service team arrives.
36. We may not be automatically liable for damage from projectiles ejected from our equipment while servicing your property. If an accidental breakage does occur, we carry public liability insurance and we will make sure the incident is investigated.
37. Be assured if damage occurs while we are on site, we will notify you immediately and discuss the incident and options for repair. If you discover a breakage after we have serviced your property, please call us immediately. Do not move or clean up anything as we need to be able to investigate the incident without the area being interfered with. If items are moved from the location where damage occurred before we are given the opportunity to inspect the damage, we cannot be held liable to repair the damage or any costs incurred in repairing the damage.
LIABILITY INSURANCE
38. We are professionals and take all due care to ensure that incidents do not occur, but accidents can happen. We carry full public liability insurance. However, not all damage is automatically covered.
